South and East of Kos

The Southeast is the preferred destination for those in search of long beaches and swimming opportunities. It's very quiet and to this day you might find that your only company consists in a few semi-wild goats and sheep.

The eastern coast of Kos is actually a beautiful region, affording fantastic views of the Turkish coast.

That said, the atmosphere is inevitably spoiled by the large hotel complexes and numerous military bases that are located in the eastern part of the island.
