Ferries to Kos

Ferry connections are confusing, to say the least. Authorities seem determined to post schedules for day trips only, which -needless to say- are significantly dearer. Timetables for the regular ferries to Rhodos and Piraeus have to be inquired by the tourist.

Another case in point, is that regular boats arriving from Nissiros, Tilos, Rhodos, Kalymnos, Patmos and Leros don't dock in Kos City's harbour, but at the northern tip of the bay.

Bus connections, on the other hand, are good, reliable and quite comprehensible. There are also many taxis available at reasonable prices.
