Museum and Casa Romana

The archaeological museum of Kos is situated on Eleftherias („Freedom“) Square in the city centre. It opens daily from 9:00 to 15:00, except Tuesdays. On display are altars, sculptures and statues, and even a mosaic that dates back to the 3rd C BC.

The Casa Romana, a perfectly preserved and restored Roman villa, provides great insight onto ancient toiletries. The house is equipped with fountains, mosaics and also an itricate drainage system. Opening hours are the same as at the museum and fortress, 9:00 to 15:00, except Tuesdays.
