Kos

North of Kos

The northen coast has numerous sandy beaches, set in a dune-like landscape. The outback is quite flat and provides excellent terrain for excursions by bike, even for the less experienced.

Mountain Bikes can be rented in most of the villages nearby. The villages Tigaki, Marmari and Mastichari are all linked via asphalted roads leading to the main highway between Kos and Kefalos.

In terms of tourist infrastructure, there have been siginificant developments here over the recent years. And despite the many hotels, rooms, and holiday appartments, the whole area is still quite peaceful compared to Kos City.
